ER Physician
Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Overview:
Our well-established Emergency Department in Omaha is expanding our physician team. Our facility offers a flexible, shift-based role focused on walk-in emergency care with strong earning potential and collaboration across major hospital systems in the Omaha area.

Position Offers:

• 12 shifts per month
• 12-hour shifts (7AM–7PM, 7PM–7AM, or mix)
• Flexible scheduling
• Competitive compensation: $225 per hour
• $25,000 annual flexible benefits allowance
• 100% malpractice reimbursement
• Time and a half on major holidays 
• Work with major hospital systems in the Omaha area

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat walk-in emergency patients
• Manage acute and general emergency cases
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing
• Admit orthopedic-related cases when appropriate
• Transfer patients requiring higher levels of care
• Provide care in a walk-in only ER (no ambulance arrivals)
• Collaborate with regional hospital systems
• Maintain documentation and compliance standards

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Nebraska MD/DO license required
• Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine residency with strong ER experience required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine required
• ACLS and ATLS required; PALS preferred
• Strong acute care, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts with EMR proficiency
