Senior Project Manager - Mechanical

Position: Senior Project Manager – Mechanical Piping/HVAC General Skills/Requirements Proficiency in English Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills Attention to details with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Solid time management skills Professional appearance Ability to interact professionally with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers Physically able to navigate an active construction site Clean criminal background and credit history Ability to pass military background check and gain access to DoD installations Must pass drug screening and background check Job Responsibilities Read and interpret mechanical and plumbing construction drawings and cut sheets. Responsibly for reviewing and management of overall project schedule. Attendance of weekly meetings both with general contractor and/or DoD personnel. Host daily meetings with subcontractors/vendors working on site. Coordinate internal resources and third-parties/vendors for the execution of project. Tracking and documenting changes in scope. Daily management and quality control of subcontractors. Review of received materials & equipment against approved submittals. Completion of quality control inspections and daily work completed reports. Maintain and enforce safety regulations and building code requirements to ensure all work is performed in a safe manner. Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project. First Aid / CPR Certified – Training provided OSHA 30 Certified – Training provided Experience/Education Prior experience with commercial/industrial mechanical and plumbing construction and/or project management.
