Collaborate with product engineering teams to ensure cost-effective solutions. Work closely with manufacturing teams to evaluate and improve production workflows, equipment utilization, and process efficiency. Partner with manufacturing teams to analyze production processes. Support value analysis/value engineering initiatives. Support continuous improvement of cost planning processes, manufacturing and operational efficiency. Stay informed on industry best practices, manufacturing technologies, and cost optimization strategies. Develop and maintain comprehensive cost plans for new and existing vehicle programs, including material, tooling, manufacturing, and engineering costs. Conduct detailed cost analysis of components, systems, and manufacturing process. Conduct "should-cost" analyses to benchmark supplier pricing. Develop and track KPIs. Monitor cost trends and provide actionable insights to ensure alignment with financial targets. Prepare and present cost forecasts and budget proposals throughout the product development lifecycle.Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with twelve (12) months experience. 40 hr/wk, $95,534/yr. Relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. may be required.
