Business Analyst II Job Description This role translates business needs into software requirements. The Business Analyst II with expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) drives key project deliverables, implementing and maintaining 834 and proprietary eligibility, COB, and group files for various health plans. Location Hybrid1: Associates must be in the office 1-2 days per week to foster collaboration while allowing flexibility for productivity and work-life balance. Alternate locations may be considered, provided candidates are within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s). If an accommodation is required by law, it will be granted as needed. How You Will Make An Impact Analyze business needs to determine optimal solutions. Determine specific business application software requirements. Work with programming staff to incorporate requirements into system design and testing. Act as liaison with software users to address questions and issues. Facilitate design and implementation of end-to-end frameworks for processing eligibility exchanges, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Lead discussions with plans and stakeholders to clarify requirements, review test cases, and ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years related business analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Experience, Skills, and Capabilities Strong knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations. Self-starter with capability to work independently and with minimal oversight. Rapidly develop a comprehensive understanding of business rules, core platforms, and applications for EDI exchanges. Develop comprehensive documentation of business rules, process flows, and technical specifications. Conduct end-to-end testing with experience developing and performing test scenarios. Beginner to intermediate Excel skills. For candidates working in person or virtually, the salary range for this position is $61,680-$106,398. Locations: New York, Maryland, Nevada.
