Job Summary:
Operating Room First Assistant (ORFA) position available in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This assignment requires candidates to have current first assist operating room experience, a Bachelor of Science degree, and valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of orientation. The role involves working 8-hour shifts with orientation included, and on-call duties as scheduled.

Job Details:

• Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting 07/20/2026
• Required Qualifications: Current two years of first assist operating room experience, Bachelor of Science degree, Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with profile), CNOR certification, and American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Certifications: CNOR, BLS (AHA)
• Additional information:
  • 8 hours non-billable orientation
  • On-call duties by rotation at the main OR, with holiday and overtime multipliers of 1.25%
  • Traveler must have own vehicle and include all time-off requests in profile at submission
  • All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission; facility will not approve post-offer requests.
  • The facility will not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of the location. Ensure perm address is included in profile.
