Great Benefits Paid Holiday Vacation Job Details Job Details: As an integral part of our team, the Consulting Buyer will play a pivotal role in the manufacturing industry! You will be responsible for setting up new vendors, and making sure we have the inventory needed to keep on our timelines as we continue to grow! Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. 2. Manage the entire procurement process, including RFQ, negotiation, and contract management. 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and ensure the timely delivery of required materials. 4. Utilize Epicor, ERP, and MRP systems to manage and track orders, inventory, and supplier performance. 5. Evaluate and select suppliers based on their capability, quality, reliability, and price. 6. Conduct market research to stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in the Sheet Metal and Electronics industries. 7. Ensure all procurement activities comply with regulatory standards and company policies. 8. Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain. 9. Continually review and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications: 1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in procurement. 2. Proven experience with Epicor, ERP, MRP, Sheet Metal, Electronics, Procurement, and RFQ. 3. A thorough understanding of supply chain management and procurement processes. 4. Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. 5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams across the organization. 7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. 8. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 9. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. 10.
