Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Georgia

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Snellville, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Self-scheduling; 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio; every other weekend required; possible floating to sister campus; no call required

Highlights:

• High-volume emergency department with 46 treatment rooms and average daily census of 135 patients
• Diverse patient population spanning infants through geriatrics across all emergency care needs
• Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Up to 7 days requested time off available per contract (must be finalized at submission)
• 36 hours of orientation with ongoing specialty-specific training modules

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; previous travel experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Proficiency in Epic charting system required
• Clinical competencies must include: BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line care and management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV vasopressor administration, triage, and isolation precautions
• Experience with combined adult and pediatric emergency department settings
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; delayed compliance results in two-week postponement due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
