Interim Controller Key Responsibilities

• The Interim Controller will oversee month-end and year-end close, general ledger, and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including budget-to-actual analyses and grant reporting
• Manage grant and contract financial reporting and compliance
• The Interim Controller will support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Coordinate audits, Form 990 preparation, and regulatory filings
• The Interim Controller will supervise accounting staff and ensure efficient day-to-day financial operations

Preferred Qualifications for the Interim Controller Role

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Masters degree preferred)
• 5+ years of nonprofit accounting experience
• Strong grant accounting and grant management experience
• CPA preferred
