Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Role Overview This position involves performing nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and quality control tasks independently or in various work settings. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies, and utilizes advanced imaging techniques such as PET and Theranostics treatments. The role requires operating with precision, adhering to safety standards, and collaborating with medical teams. Responsibilities Prepare patients and equipment for procedures Perform studies independently, including on-call, portable exams, and at multiple sites Utilize advanced imaging equipment and techniques in nuclear medicine and PET Qualifications & Skills Associate degree or trade school equivalent; higher education preferred Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification (RT(N) or CNMT); CPR certification is a plus Experience in nuclear medicine, tomography, radiology, or PET technology is advantageous New grads and upcoming students are encouraged to apply Key Attributes Strong attention to detail and safety protocols Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and technical proficiency #J-18808-Ljbffr Vetted Solutions
