Med Tech at Oyster Bay Manor/Harbor House

Nestled in the beautiful town of Oyster Bay, our serene setting offers residents a peaceful atmosphere with the comforts of home. As a Med Tech at Oyster Bay Manor/Harbor House, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Med Tech to join our team of competent and caring staff. As a Med Tech, you will oversee a team of Aides, ensuring that all employees are working effectively and efficiently towards the same goal. You will also be responsible for distributing required medications, enriching the lives of our residents by supporting them with patience and kindness, and maintaining regular, ongoing communication with our pharmacy, families, residents, and management staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Distribute required medications

• Regular, ongoing communication with the pharmacy, families, residents, and management staff

• Keep properly documented records of all distributed medication

• Follow protocols set by DOH

• Oversee our team of dedicated Aides

• Ability to assist the Supervisors in managing and coordinating the care of all residents.

  QUALIFICATIONS

• previous Med Tech Experience

• Familiar with DOH policies

• excellent communication skills and demonstrated leadership ability.

  Must be vaccinated.
