Work hours: 36 hours per week (12-hour day shifts). Employment type: Travel. Responsibilities Assess patients’ mental health status and behavioral challenges. Collaborate with medical providers and mental health staff to design and deliver patient care. Administer and monitor effectiveness and side-effects of psychotropic medications. Assist patients and families in managing maladaptive behaviors and planning healthy lifestyle changes. Exercise balanced judgment and handle difficult or confrontational situations professionally. Qualifications Active RN license. Degree from an accredited nursing program. BLS certification. At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care psychiatric setting.
