Hourly Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 Location: In Person | New York

Position Overview

Safeguard Security Group is seeking experienced Full Time Armed Security Guards for ongoing, steady daytime assignments. This role is ideal for licensed professionals seeking consistent hours, a structured schedule, and professional management.

Schedule (Consistent Day Shift)

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Weekends:8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a highly visible armed security presence to deter criminal or unauthorized activity

Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas to ensure controlled access

Conduct routine patrols and remain outside/visible as required by post orders

Respond promptly and professionally to incidents or emergencies

Enforce site rules, procedures, and company policies

Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports

Protect people, property, and assets with vigilance and composure

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older

Valid New York State Armed Security Guard License (required)

Active firearm permit with current range qualification

Prior armed security or law enforcement experience preferred

Strong communication skills and situational awareness

Ability to remain alert and on post for extended periods

Professional appearance, punctuality, and reliability required

Must be available for the listed schedule

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly rate: $28.00 – $30.00 (based on experience and assignment)

Consistent full time hours

Opportunity to pick up additional shifts when available
