Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg

Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Job Type: Full Time – Nights Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 for Night Shift with 2-year commitment Schedule: 3x12, Night Shift (7 p – 7 a). Weekends and holidays required. Responsibilities Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs. Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions. Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient. Perform timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record. Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Perform timely and accurate QI assessments. Qualifications Current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license. Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within six months of hire. One year of experience preferred. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
