Finance Professional For New Product Development

nVent is seeking a diligent and analytical finance professional to support our New Product Development initiatives. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations, to assess financial feasibility, optimize costs, to ensure timely implementation across different systems and drive profitable growth.

What You Will Experience In This Position:

• Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop financial models, forecasts, and business cases to assess the viability and profitability of new product development initiatives.
• Cost Analysis and Optimization: Partner with R&D, supply chain, and operations teams to analyze product costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve overall profitability. Support value engineering efforts to enhance cost efficiency.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process for new product investments, operational expenses and financial performance tracking to targets. Provide regular updates and projections to support resource allocation and investment planning.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various functions to have new products set up in a timely, consistent manner across regions and systems.
• Pricing Strategy: Assist Product management in establishing pricing analysis and strategies to ensure competitive positioning while maintaining profitability.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor financial performance of newly launched products against projections, analyze variances and suggest improvements to improve financial outcomes. Support ongoing product lifecycle management by assessing financial viability of product enhancements or extensions.

You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, product finance or a related field. Experience in a high growth, manufacturing environment in New Product Development strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey financial insights to both finance and non-finance collaborators.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical and forecasting skills.
• Proficiency in financial planning tools, ERP systems and Excel.

Pay Transparency nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Compensation Range:

$89,300.00 - $165,800.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
