THE OPPORTUNITY
Proceanic is seeking a Commercial Lead – Business Development to drive global revenue growth and strengthen the company’s market presence. This individual will play a central role in expanding client relationships, originating new opportunities, and managing the full sales lifecycle for complex technical service contracts. The role is ideally suited for a commercially driven professional with established industry relationships or a demonstrated ability to originate new business within offshore energy, subsea, marine, or related technical service sectors. The successful candidate will combine strategic business development capabilities with end-to-end sales execution, independently sourcing opportunities, developing and managing a qualified pipeline, leading proposals and follow-ups, and coordinating closely with operations and engineering teams to secure contract awards. This position blends the strategic orientation of a senior business developer with the practical execution of a “player-coach.” The successful candidate will thrive in a merit-based, high-trust environment and will be motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the company’s continued growth. Business Development Identify, pursue, secure service contracts with offshore operators, drilling contractors & other critical asset owners Develop and execute account strategies to expand market share Build and maintain senior-level client relationships Manage the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through contract award Lead proposal development in collaboration with engineering and operations teams Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting information using CRM tools Market Representation Represent Proceanic at industry conferences and client engagements Capture and communicate customer needs and industry trends to inform commercial strategy Cross-Functional Collaboration Coordinate with internal teams to ensure technical and commercial alignment Support marketing initiatives and brand positioning effortsQUALIFICATIONS
