Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $2,569 a week in all, a taxable rate of $32.56 an hour plus $1,267 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Hospice. The Registered Nurse provides patient-centered home care across the lifespan, from infancy through geriatric populations. The role coordinates interdisciplinary services, manages patient episodes of care, monitors outcomes, and supports appropriate resource and visit pattern utilization.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating schedule; Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with on-call, weekend, and holiday rotation; 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois or Michigan; current American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification before the start date; minimum of 2 years of experience; valid driver’s license; personal transportation and automobile insurance; and adherence to safe-driving laws, rules, and recommendations while on duty.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse experience in a healthcare environment; and basic proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft applications.
• Responsibilities: Provide age-appropriate nursing care; coordinate interdisciplinary services that may include nursing, therapy, social work, home care assistance, home medical equipment, and home infusion services; apply critical-thinking skills to support positive patient outcomes; manage care coordination, visit patterns, outcomes, resources, and patient episodes.
• Assignment Dates: 11/09/2026–02/08/2027.
