Locum Gastroenterologist Opportunity

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is looking for a locum gastroenterologist to fill their need! Schedule:

• Patient Contact Hours: 7a-7a
• On Call: Yes, 24-hour call, on site for 8 hours

• June 12 @ 0700 - June 19 @ 0700
• Additional ongoing dates

• Inpatient Responsibilities: Yes, at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center
• Outreach: No
• Telehealth: No
• Number of Physicians: 1
• Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 2
• Supervision of APPs expected: No
• Services offered in the practice: Colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP
• Medical Imaging: Yes
• Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
• Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 10-12/day with APPs to help round
• EMR: EPIC

Facility Reimbursement:

• Flights - $750/round trip cap (to include all taxes and fees). No upgraded airfares or seat upgrades
• Lodging - 1.5x the GSA rate cap average for the total stay (to include taxes and fees). Preferred Hotel: Staybridge Suites
• Rental Car - $55/day cap (including all taxes and fees) regardless of car class. SUV/upgrades over cap will need to be preapproved (will only be approved if needed for inclement weather). Preferred Rental Car: Enterprise and National
• Mileage - IRS Standard Rate

Bill Rates Needed for Submission:

• Malpractice (must be included in the rates)
• Orientation
• 24 Hour On Call ($9000 rate cap to include 14 gratis hours)
• Holiday 24 Hour On Call ($13,500 to include 14 gratis hours)
• Call Back ($590 per hour after 14 gratis hours)
• Holiday Call Back ($885 rate cap)
• Conversion fee ($25k rate cap)
