About the Position

Job Title: RN - OR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital OR RN experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role: Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital OR RN experience BLS & ACLS Description: This is a travel RN position in the Operating Room. The role requires flexibility and the ability to work well in a team. The unit has 11 ORs and a staff of 53. The patient ratio is 2:1. The types of procedures performed include general surgeries, neuro/spine, cardiovascular thoracic, orthopedic, gynecology, and robotics. Candidates with prior experience using Meditech will be prioritized. Charge nurse experience is highly preferred and will be given priority in the hiring process. Precepting experience is also beneficial. Call requirements are 1-2 nights per week and 1-2 weekend call shifts per month. The ideal candidate should possess great communication skills and be easy-going. This role offers opportunities to work with new equipment and technology.
