Position Overview: Full-time Schedule 2 holidays per year Well Newborn rounding at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, FL 44-bed nursery Averaging 15-25 newborns per day Occasional Coverage at Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines and Memorial HospitalMiramar Minimum of 2 years experience as a practicing pediatrician is required Medical/Dental/Vision - Benefits effective day one Life Insurance Short/Long Term Disability 401(k) with matching benefit Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Medical Malpractice Licensure Renewals and Maintenance of Board Certification Education, Licensure & Certification: M.D. or D.O. degree required Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State ofFlorida Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment Join us at Pediatric Associates and be a part of a team that values excellence, empathy, and innovation in pediatric healthcare.
