Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 13–18 Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as assessed during orientation
• Administer and manage medications in accordance with facility protocols, with competency assessed via safeMedicate during orientation
• Document and track hours worked using the designated time-management platform
• Participate in required pre-start and annual modules and hands-on competency activities as directed by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months — required to qualify for submission (Charge RN references accepted; co-worker references not accepted)
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience within a single facility or location for the required specialty period
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm interpretation and medication administration assessment tools
• Prior travel nursing experience within a large health system environment
