We are seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to join an infusion pharmacy team. This position combines sterile compounding expertise with clinical pharmacy services, regulatory compliance, and leadership in a fast-paced environment supporting infusion pharmacy patients.

Schedule

Monday – Thursday
7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Essential Responsibilities
Interpret, verify, and process physician medication orders.
Perform and oversee sterile compounding in compliance with USP <797> and USP <800> .
Conduct final verification of compounded sterile preparations.
Review medication profiles for safety, allergies, drug interactions, dosing, and compatibility.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff.
Maintain cleanroom standards, aseptic technique, and environmental monitoring requirements.
Participate in quality assurance, medication safety, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain compounding, batch, quality, and regulatory documentation.
Assist with inventory management, controlled substances, and daily pharmacy operations.
Support the development of pharmacy policies, procedures, and staff training.
Participate in staff meetings and professional conferences.

Minimum Qualifications
Active Florida Pharmacist License in good standing.
Minimum 1 year of experience with hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding.
Experience working in compliance with USP <797> , USP <800> , DEA, OSHA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
