Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for remotely monitoring cardiac patients to detect abnormal heart rhythms and ensure patient safety. Provides real-time analysis and communication with clinical staff to facilitate prompt interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret heart rhythms from GE Carescape monitors to identify critical cardiac events.
• Build end-of-shift reports within the GE Carescape system for accurate documentation.
• Add and discharge patients from the monitoring system, maintaining updated patient status.
• Communicate findings and alerts to floor staff through desktop phones and iPhone applications.
• Keep detailed call logs and prioritize multitasking during high-volume patient monitoring.
• Maintain calm and professional demeanor during stressful situations, ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate previous experience in remote patient monitoring, particularly in telemetry.
• Be proficient in analyzing and interpreting cardiac rhythms.
• Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with GE Carescape and basic iPhone operations.
• Hold a reliable attendance record and clear communication skills in English.
• Have certification or experience in medical terminology, nursing, or CNA background (preferred).
• Be capable of passing a basic cardiac rhythm assessment.
