Summary: Outside Sales Representatives are responsible for prospecting and generating new commercial business. This position requires cold calling on commercial accounts in the field to generate new permanent sales, as well as visiting existing customers and prospects to provide detailed information on various products, programs, or services offered by Reliable Transmission Service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Frequent travel is required.
• Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company product(s)/service(s) while on-site.
• Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client and prospect base.
• Visits with current accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and to promote ongoing awareness of current and new products and services.
• Effectively generate sales and leads while attending conferences and trade shows.
• Using marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency by using relevant sales management tools.
• Providing product quotes to customers as needed.
• Must meet or exceed goals, objectives, and budgetary expectations
• Other duties may be assigned

• Must have a clean driving record.
• Customer Service- Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; meets commitments.
• Oral communication- speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; participates in meetings.
• Quality- Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with others.
• Safety and Security—Observes safety and security procedures, reports unsafe conditions, and uses equipment and materials properly.

Education and/or Experience

• 4- 5 year's experience
• Track record of superior performance metrics
• Strong decision-making abilities

Language Skills

• Good written and verbal skills.
• Ability to give effective and persuasive speeches and presentations to employees or customers on controversial or complex topics.
• Excellent negotiation skills
