Patient Access SpecialistAt St. Luke's, our dedicated team of Patient Access Specialists strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences.This customer service position is often the first person a patient encounters when entering a St. Luke's hospital or clinic. This important role supports exceptional interactions to ensure professional, timely and accurate written and verbal communication with both patients and caregivers (both in person and by phone).We currently have openings in Treasure Valley, Magic Valley, and Wood River with various shifts including flex, part time, and full time.What you can expect from this role:Registration, scheduling, and referral coordination for patientsDiscussions on financial options and/or explanations of insurance coverage, including authorizations, verifications, and estimatesUse a variety of technologies, tools and resources to support departmental workflowsOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications for this Role:Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.At St. Luke's, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission – and this includes our own SLHS team.
