As the Lead Sanitation Technician, you will oversee and coordinate sanitation activities to ensure food safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness while leading and developing the sanitation team in a safe and hygienic manufacturing environment.Shift & ScheduleHours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pmShift: 1stWeekend Availability: RequiredCompensationHourly Rate: $24.00 – $25.25Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)Lead and supervise sanitation team members, including Tech 1 and Tech 2 rolesEnsure sanitation activities comply with SSOPs, GMPs, HACCP, and Aspire Bakeries quality standardsManage sanitation schedules for production and non‑production areas to support operational readinessMaintain audit readiness by serving as the primary sanitation contact for inspections and reviewsOversee sanitation documentation, including cleaning logs, chemical usage, and corrective actionsPartner with Quality Assurance and Production teams to mitigate contamination risksPromote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvementMinimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)High school diploma or GEDMinimum of 3 years of experience in sanitation or food manufacturing, including supervisory experienceWorking knowledge of food safety standards, including GMP and HACCPAbility to read and comprehend sanitation procedures, SSOPs, and safety documentationAbility to write clear reports and complete sanitation and audit logs accuratelyBasic math skills using whole numbers, fractions, and decimalsAbility to lift and move items over 50 lbs. occasionally and work in wet, humid, and dusty environmentsPreferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)Bilingual in English and SpanishExperience supporting sanitation audits and regulatory inspectionsExperience working in bakery or food manufacturing environmentsStrong training and mentoring skills for sanitation teamsAspire Bakeries LLC values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization.
