WaterJet Saw Operator

Pay: $16.00–$17.00/hour
Shifts: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Available

Job Description:
Client is seeking dependable WaterJet Saw Operators to operate and monitor waterjet cutting equipment used to cut foam and other materials to precise specifications. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous machine operation experience is preferred, but candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate waterjet saw equipment to cut foam and materials according to work orders and specifications.
• Set up and adjust machinery for different cutting requirements.
• Read work orders, measurements, and production instructions.
• Load, position, and secure materials properly for cutting.
• Monitor machine operation and make basic adjustments as needed.
• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Identify defects or equipment issues and notify supervisors when necessary.
• Perform basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Safely handle materials and finished products throughout the production process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Work with the production team to meet daily production and quality goals.

Ideal Candidate:

• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Previous saw, CNC, waterjet, or production equipment experience is a plus.
• Good measurement and attention-to-detail skills.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable learning new equipment.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive production tasks.
• Willing to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
