Infant Room - Lead Teacher

About This Role Dream Preparatory Academy, INC. is hiring for a support staff member role in Greenville, offering compensation of $16–$20 per hour. Candidates need the appropriate background. As the Infant Room Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants aged 8 weeks to 18 months. Your role is to create a safe, stimulating sanctuary that fosters social‑emotional growth and curiosity during our extended day program. What You’ll Do Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that align with the academy’s philosophy to spark early curiosity. Create a warm, inclusive classroom space that promotes exploration and independence. Supervise our youngest learners, ensuring their well‑being while using positive guidance to manage routines. Observe and track developmental milestones, identifying strengths and areas for growth. Maintain professional and heart‑centered communication with parents and colleagues. Organize and maintain a clean, stimulating learning space filled with age‑appropriate materials and equipment. Requirements Proactive self‑starter who demonstrates a continuous growth mindset and a commitment to process improvement. Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Proven experience nurturing and guiding young children in a professional educational setting. Strong classroom management skills and a deep understanding of child development principles. First Aid/CPR certification and the ability to pass all required background clearances. Schedule Consistent coverage for the 1st shift (7:30 AM to 5:30 PM). Full‑time or part‑time options available; may include occasional academy events outside regular hours. Nice to Have Foundational knowledge of Montessori or STEAM educational frameworks, with a proven ability to adapt and excel in specialized learning environments.
