You will join our client's team as a Senior Software Engineer working directly on our client's site in Nashua, NH.About the JobThe Software Engineer researches, designs, builds and maintains innovative solutions incorporating state-of-the-art capabilities for the US Department of Defence. In this role, you will work with a small, elite team of highly dedicated engineers and scientists to apply cutting-edge algorithms to real-world problems. We are seeking candidates with proven abilities in developing innovative solutions who are particularly interested in working on state-of-the-art Electronic Warfare and Signal Intelligence capabilities.You'll Bring These Qualifications:Exceptional software development skills in C++ at expert levelAbility to review and analyze source codeStrong academic training in Software Engineering and Computer Science fundamentals.Stellar communication skills (both technical details and high-level conceptual ideas).Enjoys collaborating with small and dedicated development teams.US CitizenThese Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:Deep, Hands on expert level experience in software engineering using C++Knowledge of modern development practices (Agile, object-oriented programming, test-driven development, microservices).Ability to understand RF data feedsAbility to review previous repository of source codeUnderstanding of Signals Intelligence and Software Defined Radio technologyWhat You'll Get to Do:Evaluate candidate technologies and standards to implement solutions.Design and integrate software modules and components.Rapidly prototype testbeds to support development.Implement, test, and maintain customer-facing applications.Participate in Agile planning and development of new features and system maintenance.EducationBS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or other technical degree.
