Job Description

MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center is seeking a full-time BC/BE Invasive, or General Cardiology physician for a growing heart and vascular practice located in Lancaster, South Carolina. Ideal candidates will have experience performing nuclear stress testing, and diagnostic catheterizations as well as echocardiogram reads.

The Lancaster practice is part of MUSC Healths greater Heart & Vascular Center, which provides compassionate care and advanced treatment to patients across South Carolina. MUSC Health Heart & Vascular Center has received the Society of Thoracic Surgeons 3-star rating 20 years in a row, is accredited by the Society of Chest Pain Centers, and is a BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina BlueDistinction Center for Cardiac Care.

About the Position:

• 1:2 call schedule on weekdays, 1:2 on weekends with plans to continue to expand with a 3rd physician and 1 or more APPs, which will further dilute the call frequency over time
• Access to cardiac CT, 3D Echo, PET and SPECT equipment, electrophysiology equipment, and a cath lab on site (diagnostic only)
• Dedicated group of providers promoting teamwork, efficiency, and excellent patient care
• Quick ramp-up time with excellent local marketing and outreach support
