Process Specialist- (Afternoon)

Becton Dickinson seeks a Process Specialist to operate and maintain automated manufacturing equipment for medical device production on an afternoon shift. The role involves equipment certification, quality monitoring, troubleshooting, and participation in continuous improvement activities at a Sandy, Utah facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain high-speed automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment
• Perform equipment changeovers, set-ups, and respond to machine faults
• Monitor production processes and maintain documentation following good documentation practices
• Participate in autonomous maintenance, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement events
• Maintain clean work areas and support a safe working environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or one year relevant manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and quality systems
• Basic computer skills and mathematical proficiency
• Strong oral and written communication abilities
• Environmental, health, and safety awareness
• Ability to work afternoon shift (2:45 PM–1:00 AM, Monday–Thursday)
• Willingness to rotate tasks and work overtime as needed
