Location: Warsaw, IN – Parkview Kosciusko Hospital – Operating Room – Allied Health Job Type: Full Time, Benefit Eligible – Schedule: 06:30 – 16:30 flex plus call – Days Req #: 182910 Posted: October 10, 2025 Summary Under the Perioperative leader, the Surgical Technologist assumes responsibility and accountability for assuring quality care as a healthcare team member within the perioperative environment. The role requires anticipation, planning, and response to the needs of the patient, surgeon, and other team members while maintaining confidentiality regarding patients, families, coworkers, and physicians. Education Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED. Must be a graduate of a Surgical Technologist program or provide evidence of prior employment as a Surgical Technologist before July 1, 2009. Licensure/Certification Must hold current certification as a surgical technologist; or obtain certification within 12 months of completing a degree from an accredited school of surgical technology; or provide evidence of employment as a certified surgical technologist before July 1, 2009; or be a current licensed practitioner with evidence of prior employment as a surgical technologist. Certification must be renewed every four years and include 15 CEU credits annually. Must maintain current CPR certification. Experience Healthcare experience preferred. Other Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with general computer skills and applications.
