The role involves running conflict checks using the firm’s file opening software, performing conflict searches to identify potential conflicts of interest, and updating conflict information as required. The analyst will update and maintain digital records, perform data entry, process information, and provide customer service to support the file opening and intake process. Responsibilities Run conflict checks using the firm’s file opening software. Perform conflict searches to identify potential conflicts of interest. Update conflict information as required. Update and maintain digital records. Perform data entry and process information. Provide customer service to support the file opening and intake process. Provide backup support to the Records Admin Clerk, including reviewing and verifying engagement letters. Approve non‑Gunster engagement letters submitted for approval. Assist with proper party alignments and party status for new potential file openings. Approve appropriate changes to administrative tasks, including attorney assignments, matter names, scope, and intake. Qualifications Customer service and problem‑solving skills. Windows‑based computer skills. Typing speed of 40 words per minute. Logical and analytical thinking skills. Detail oriented. Ability to work independently and prioritize within time constraints. Exercise sound judgment in reaching procedurally correct solutions. Communicate professionally with high‑level individuals.
