Registered Nurse – Obstetrics / Med-Surg (OB/GYN)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for obstetric patients including labor and delivery, postpartum, and recovery
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout the labor and delivery process
• Support postpartum patients and newborns during the recovery period
• Float to the med-surg floor and provide general medical-surgical nursing care when obstetric census is low

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in obstetrics, including labor and delivery, postpartum, and recovery
• Ability and willingness to float to a med-surg unit as needed
• Ability to work night shift

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a med-surg nursing environment
• Familiarity with low-census float protocols in a hospital setting
