We are looking for amazing baristas to create an amazing experience for our customers!
Scooter's Coffee is a locally owned coffee shop dedicated to hiring amazing people to serve amazing coffee amazingly fast. We're passionate about creating a warm, friendly environment for both our customers and our team.
We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate loves coffee, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a barista, you'll be responsible for preparing beverages, providing excellent customer service, and helping maintain a clean and inviting work space alongside your team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to company standards
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
- Operate POS system and handle cash and card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffeehouse
- Follow health, safety, and food-handling guidelines
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous barista or food service experience preferred (training provided)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Schedule & Availability
- Seeking availability for the hours of 5:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate school/work schedules
- Weekends and holidays will be required on a rotating basis (increased wage)
