Role Description The Master Barber role is a full-time, on-site position located in Nashville, TN. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing precise haircuts, shaves, trims, and grooming services, as well as styling hair according to client preferences and current trends. The Master Barber will consult with clients on hair care needs, recommend products and services, maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, and follow all health and safety guidelines. Additional duties include managing client appointments, supporting a friendly shop atmosphere, and contributing to the barbershop’s reputation for excellent customer service and professionalism. Qualifications Strong Barbering and Hair Cutting skills, with proven ability to deliver precise and consistent results. Proficiency in Hair Styling and Cosmetology techniques to accommodate diverse hair types and styles. Knowledge of Hair Care best practices, including product recommendations and maintenance routines. Valid state barber license and compliance with all local regulations and sanitation standards. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build and retain clientele. Ability to stand for extended periods, manage a steady appointment flow, and work flexible hours, including weekends. Previous experience as a Master Barber or senior-level barber in a professional barbershop setting is highly preferred.
