- Start Date: 04/26/2026
- Duration: Ongoing assignment (flexible start dates)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM-7:30 AM), 3 shifts/week
- Hours/Week: Approximately 36 hours
- Employment Type: Contract with potential for extension
- Licenses/Certifications: Kansas RN license or Compact RN license; BLS, ACLS, NIHF required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years recent ICU/Critical Care experience, including CRRT, Bipaps, drawing labs, chest tubes, PICC lines; comfortable with codes and consults
- Floating Requirements: Yes, to ICU and inpatient units including Med/Surg, Tele, and ED
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Work: Based on unit needs; July 4th coverage required
- On-Call: None
- Orientation: 5 days (initial onsite and virtual Epic training)
- Hourly Rate: [Pay package discussed upon application]

- Provide critical care nursing support to ICU patients with complex needs
- Manage and monitor patients on CRRT, Bipaps, and other life-support devices
- Administer medications, draw labs, and update patient records
- Conduct code responses and manage emergency situations with confidence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care planning and execution
- Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR system
- Floats to various inpatient units and ED as needed
Required:
- Kansas RN license or valid Compact license
- BLS, ACLS, NIHF certifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience, specific skills with CRRT, Bipaps, chest tubes, PICC, and code management
- Prior experience with Epic EMR
- Comfort with float requirements across multiple inpatient units
