Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $1.00 (rate to be confirmed and adjusted as per contract and shift type)

What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient emergency medicine coverage in a community ED with 22 beds and 15 rooms.
• Deliver high-quality patient care for a diverse volume of over 30,000 annual visits.
• Cover shifts ranging from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m., including night and day rotations.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including stroke activations, and coordinate with tele-stroke and cardiac cath lab teams.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of board-certified emergency physicians and nursing staff.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient encounters using EPIC EMR system.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state licensing, and credentialing requirements.

What You Need

• Active, unrestricted medical license in Washington State
• Current DEA registration
• Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM certified)
• Previous ER experience preferred, with ability to handle variable patient acuity
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and maintain high standards of patient care
