This is a temporary position with the following start and end dates: Start Date: Wednesday, January 6 End Date: Wednesday, February 3 Key Responsibilities Identify vendors in client Double files who require 1099s. Collect and update W-9 information in QBO and Double as needed. Generate draft 1099 forms. Import completed Excel templates into 1099 software to create drafts. Send draft 1099s to clients via Adobe Sign for approval. Submit approved 1099s electronically through our 1099 software. Upload relevant documents to client files. Perform additional tasks such as running reports from QBO for tax clients. Other duties within the scope of the practice. Training Includes IRS 1099 requirements and reporting basics. Step-by-step use of Tax 1099 software. Adobe Sign workflow for client approvals. Customer document handling and organization. Tools You’ll Use QuickBooks Online (QBO) Tax 1099 Software Adobe Sign Smartsheet Double Excel Ideal Candidate Pursuing a degree in accounting or finance with a minimum 3.25 GPA. Proficient in accounting software, digital tools, and Excel. Detail oriented with strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines.
