Emergency Department Technician

Our client, a leading health system in Garden City, KS, is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to join their team. This role is essential in providing support to the emergency services department and ensuring the physical and emotional needs of patients are met.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions as delegated by the RN according to the Nurse Practice Act.
• Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the team to meet patient needs.
• Assist in providing care to patients in the emergency department.

Requirements

• One year of healthcare experience (pre-hospital or ED or patient care) preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an EMT-B program required.
• IV Therapy Certification required (IV Certification is not required for positions located in Utah).
• BLS (AHA) required.
• EKG Certification preferred.

Schedule

• Full Time position.
• Night shift.

Compensation

• $16.00 - $23.00/hour
