In this role, your expertise will help shape exceptional learning experiences by working closely with educators and families during testing, evaluations, and IEP meetings.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure
- Previous experience (clinical, internship, or professional) with high-needs and non-verbal students preferred
- Strong background in psychological assessment and report writing
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education compliance
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school teams, families, and outside providers
- Clear, empathetic communication and advocacy skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological testing and evaluations for students as assigned
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering valuable insights and recommendations
- Develop strategies and interventions tailored to meet student needs, particularly for non-verbal and high-needs populations
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with all regulations
- Support the emotional and behavioral well-being of the school community
