Groove Welder

Job Title: Structural / Pipe Groove Welder

Now hiring experienced Structural and Pipe Welders for traveling industrial projects. Candidates should have at least 1 year of hands-on experience performing groove welds in industrial, fabrication, shipyard, construction, or manufacturing environments. This position is ideal for welders with FCAW, SMAW (stick), MIG, or flux core experience who are comfortable welding plate, structural components, or pipe in multiple positions.

Responsibilities:
• Perform groove welds on structural steel, plate, or pipe using approved welding procedures
• Weld in various positions including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Operate welding equipment safely and maintain quality workmanship
• Perform fit-up, grinding, and weld prep as needed
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
• Work alongside fitters, fabricators, and other trades on industrial jobsites

Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Structural Welder, Pipe Welder, Combo Welder, Flux Core Welder, or Stick Welder
• Experience with groove welds on plate, structural steel, or pipe required
• FCAW, SMAW, MIG, or multi-process welding experience preferred
• Ability to pass a weld test if required
• Experience in shipyards, industrial plants, fabrication shops, or construction settings preferred
• Must be willing to travel for projects
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

• Pay up to $26/hour based on experience
