Senior Mechanical Engineer About Us We’re an Austin-based robotics start-up building rugged, scalable robots for hazardous, real-world missions — from firefighting to defense. Backed by leading investors and trusted by major agencies, we’re moving fast toward production of our next‑gen platform. The Role As Senior Mechanical Engineer , you’ll own critical mechanical systems from concept to deployment. You’ll design, prototype, and test hardware that must survive heat, debris, and chaos - working hands‑on with a small, elite team to ship real robots into the field. You will: Lead design and integration of mechanical and electromechanical subsystems Create CAD, prototypes, and test rigs; run design reviews and FEA Drive reliability, manufacturability, and performance improvements About You BS+ in Mechanical Engineering or related field 5+ years in complex hardware design (robotics, aerospace, or similar) Strong CAD/FEA (SolidWorks, Ansys) and GD&T experience Hands‑on, detail‑driven, thrives in fast‑paced environments Details Austin, TX (Onsite) $130K - $180K + 0.5–1.5% equity Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Robotics Engineering and Robot Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™
