Competitive Compensation: Strong base salary + bonus potential Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance 401(k) Program Stable, Established Manufacturer with Global Reach Leadership Opportunity: Manage and develop a design engineering team Cross‑Functional Impact: Work closely with manufacturing and supply teams to improve product design and manufacturability Job Details Key Responsibilities and Duties: Lead the design engineering and PE teams to ensure strong performance and productivity Develop and implement design strategies, processes, and engineering best practices Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution Drive innovation around manufacturability and improve engineering drawings and bills of material Resolve technical issues and provide leadership on complex design challenges Prepare and present design proposals and project updates to management Collaborate with internal and external manufacturing and supply teams Support continuous improvement across the design and engineering function You should have most of the following: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering Minimum 8–10 years of experience in engineering design Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a managerial or team leadership role Strong experience in manufacturing design environments Experience improving drawings, bills of material, and design for manufacturability Proficiency with CAD software Strong background using AutoCAD and Inventor Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations Proven ability to lead teams, solve technical design issues, and manage multiple engineering priorities Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
