Design Research Intern

Work with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify research needs Design and execute research studies, including interviews, usability studies, surveys, field studies or similar Analyze and synthesize research results with work partners Uncover actionable feedback for product development and share it with key stakeholders Present and share findings through workshops, presentations, and reports as needed Work with cross-functional team members as part of the product development process Requirements In-process of a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in design, cognitive science, or research-related field Experience in user research with an emphasis on research related to product and/or software experiences Experience designing and conducting user research using a variety of methodologies Ability to work well with other researchers, developers, product managers, designers and business partners Experience conducting research and understanding core research principles and processes Experience determining the most impactful insights from findings and building a compelling story Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis Shure will not sponsor applicants for work visas Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in user research methodologies and the ability to synthesize findings into actionable insights for product development.
