Position title: Corporal
Division: Booking
Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts

Job Duties: The Booking Corporal supervises the subordinate Booking staff to ensure that all jobs are carried out in accordance with EBRPP policy and procedure.
•Supervises the performance of the Booking Processor Deputy.
•Supervises and monitors all visitors in the assigned area.
•Prepares detailed written reports on inmate violations, accidents, equipment issues, etc.
•Maintains accurate attendance records of subordinate Central Booking Staff.
•Verifies paperwork on each inmate to be correct and addresses any discrepancies.
•Assist the public when necessary.
•Provides relief to all Central Booking staff as needed.
•Verifies outstanding warrants and follows up on NCIC hits for all inmates booked into EBRPP.
•Supervises the orientation and training of new Central Booking staff.
•Ensures that money is logged and secured properly in the safe upon booking new inmates.
•Nightshift: Completes the Court Call Out list for the following day.
•Distributes the Call Out List to appropriate staff members and ensures that the inmates included on the list are ready for their scheduled call out.
•Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:
•No disciplinary actions in the last 12 months
•At least eighteen (18) months experience working in central booking.
