Lead Mammography Technologist

Responsibilities When you join us as a Lead Mammography Technologist , you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the twenty‑first century and align all stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—to achieve the best clinical outcomes. Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices with adherence to established company policies and protocols. Travel to RadNet sites within the practice subsidiary to assess overall training and support needs for Mammography Technologists. Work directly with the Training Mammography Director to ensure that Mammography Technologists are onboarded and trained appropriately, and that MQSA and ACR requirements—including quality assurance, clinical image quality, and quality control—are met throughout the region. Technologist Image Review – Provides routine and ad hoc Technologist feedback and review, consistent with department guidelines. Radiologist Image Review/Peer Review measures to certify that an image review exists for each Radiologist at each location where they read. Collaborate with technologists to develop efficiency standards for workflow that ensure each imaging center meets or exceeds productivity measures and daily volume expectations. Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information. Safeguard any on‑site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements. Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals. Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers. Qualifications Genuinely passionate about patient care and leadership, exercise sound judgement and have the ability to remain professional in all situations. Capable of showcasing adept and professional communication skills with leaders across all levels, as well as demonstrating strong interpersonal abilities and respect when interacting with patients, leaders, and colleagues. Able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, have a knack for prioritizing work with a structured approach, and enjoy solving complex problems. Required Certifications and Experience ARRT(R) (M) certification. State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology. BLS certification. Familiarity with and ability to use equipment in assigned modality, including RIS, imaging equipment, and PACS. Demonstrated ability to maintain all required quality standards.
