Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced and dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will manage personal injury matters from initial client consultation through trial preparation and resolution. This role requires strong litigation skills, client advocacy, negotiation expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial
- Conduct client consultations and case evaluations
- Develop case strategies and manage litigation processes
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement demands
- Conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel
- Collaborate with medical professionals, investigators, and legal staff
- Analyze medical records, accident reports, and evidence
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case updates
- Prepare cases for trial and represent clients in court proceedings
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal regulations and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Ohio.
- Personal injury litigation experience preferred
- Strong negotiation, litigation, and trial advocacy skills
- Experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters preferred
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
