Physical Therapist AssistantWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. In this role, you will help patients improve mobility, restore function, and achieve rehabilitation goals while ensuring compliance with all applicable clinical and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist.Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation techniques.Prepare treatment areas and equipment while maintaining a safe and organized clinical environment.Document patient treatments, progress, and responses accurately and promptly.Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed therapy activities and home exercise programs.Participate in team meetings, required training, and continuing education.Ensure compliance with OSHA, Medicare, state regulations, and organizational policies.Required QualificationsGraduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program or an equivalent internationally recognized program.Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license or certification in the applicable state.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Working knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation.Preferred QualificationsExperience in an outpatient, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or similar clinical setting.Strong commitment to delivering patient-centered care.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Key Skills RequiredPatient rehabilitationTherapeutic exercise instructionClinical documentationTeam collaborationCommunication and patient educationTime managementRegulatory complianceBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA) and dependent care assistanceCompany-paid life insuranceCompany-paid long-term disability insuranceVoluntary supplemental insurance options401(k) retirement savings planSupport for internationally trained Physical Therapist Assistants pursuing U.S. licensureWhy This Location?Renton, Washington offers a vibrant community with easy access to Lake Washington, scenic parks, hiking trails, and outdoor recreation.
