Cardinal Staffing is hiring experienced FABRICATORS for a conveyor systems integrator in the Port Clinton area.
JOB SUMMARY : As a Fabricator you will be a part of our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will operate metalworking machinery to assist in the fabrication of company products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:• Performs set-ups and operates various types of machinery including but not limited to saws, lasers, press brakes, tube lasers, shears, and automated bend cells• Ensures quality of product by meeting engineering specifications• Completes mechanical assembly as instructed/trained• Programs machines to execute functions• Completes preventative maintenance tasks• Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to operate one to three different types of machinery• Basic troubleshooting of equipment and part configuration to ensure quality compliance with minimal assistance• Ability to flex to operate on trained machines when necessary• Understanding mechanical drawings preferred• Ability to operate hand tools required• Understands angles and the use of a protractor preferred• Ability to read calibration equipment including but not limited to micrometers and calipers preferred• Able to pass math and measurements assessment• Ability to read a tape measure within 1/16"• Basic data entry computer skills and the ability to print documents• Company issued forklift and crane certifications may be required• Must have basic reading and writing skills in the English language• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, etc.)• Able to convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals• Strong interpersonal skills• Successful completion of 90-day probationary period EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: • High school diploma or equivalent required• Minimum of one year manufacturing machinery experience preferred. Compensation $22.00 with a 10% shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shiftHours 2nd 2p-10p / 3rd 10p-6a Overtime required on as needed basis
