Construction Project Coordinator

Key Responsibilities Review estimator takeoffs, proposals, and contracts to confirm alignment of the project scope. Identify project material requirements and prepare submittals for general contractors and owners. Prepare, distribute, track, and maintain project documentation, including material submittals, LEED documents, warranties, and closeout records. Communicate product approvals and architect/engineer submittal comments promptly to project managers and superintendents. Maintain accurate, organized departmental records in the QC tracking database. Review contracts, purchase orders, and invoices for accuracy; obtain approvals as required. Read and interpret structural drawings and specifications relevant to the company’s work. Support the development and implementation of departmental process improvements. Cross-train on related departmental duties to provide coverage as needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred. One year of construction-related experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Familiarity with Viewpoint and AutoCAD preferred; ability to learn new software. Understanding of construction project management processes. Strong organizational, written communication, and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize competing tasks, work independently, and collaborate with a team.
